Abingdon Lions Club is always on the lookout for new members. The photograph above shows some Club members just after enrolling Teresa, one of our recent recruits.
Membership of the Lions is open to all men and women over the age of 18 who wish to serve their local community. You can get a good feel for what we do by exploring this web site. We meet in the Conservative Club, Ock Street, Abingdon at 8 pm on the second Wednesday of each month. There are also many social gatherings during the year which are open to our partners as well. Our meetings are extremely good humoured. Indeed, if you are in need of laughter therapy, then you should join the Lions. We strictly have no political or religious affiliations. All are welcome and our members come from all walks of life. Apart from our modest membership subscription of £13.50 per half year, there are no costs. We want a bit of your time, not your money.
Why not come and meet us to get a feel for how our Club works. You will be made very welcome. If you would like any more information you can email our membership secretary. His email address can be found on the Officers page. He is on the far right in the photograph. You may also use the Contact Us page.
Abingdon Lions Club Charitable Trust is a registered charity (no. 1055471).
